Easy Gift Vouchers respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights when you purchase gift vouchers, redeem credit, or plan trips on our platform.
Who we are
Easy Gift Vouchers is operated as a global travel gifts and holiday planning platform. For privacy enquiries, contact hello@easygiftvouchers.com.
Data we collect
We collect information you provide when purchasing vouchers (names, email addresses, gift messages, and a shipping address if you order a physical card), redeeming vouchers (voucher codes and wallet activity), planning trips (destination, dates and family details), and booking travel (payment references via Stripe). A hotel booking also uses the lead guest's name, email, phone number and Dutch nationality so the stay can be reserved. We store a language cookie and, once a guest wallet exists, a wallet cookie. Shipping addresses you type for a physical card can stay in this browser as an address book until you save them to an account.
How we use your data
We use your data to process voucher purchases and payments, deliver gift vouchers by email or post, maintain wallet balances and trip itineraries, confirm bookings, provide customer support, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Third-party services
We use Stripe (payments, including iDEAL), Resend (email), Supabase (storage and sign-in) and Vercel (hosting). Hotel stays are reserved through Nuitee (LiteAPI): we send the lead guest's name, email, phone and stay details to complete the booking. When you book a flight, we send the passenger names, dates of birth, gender, nationality, and passport details to Nuitee (LiteAPI) so the ticket can be issued. We keep the passenger names on the booking and do not store the passport number. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights measure anonymised page views and Core Web Vitals. Destination maps load tiles from OpenStreetMap. Photos are loaded from Unsplash and from the hotel supplier. If you choose Google sign-in, Google processes that login. These providers act under their own privacy policies and our agreements with them.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep the site working: a language preference stored for one year, and an HttpOnly wallet cookie once a guest wallet exists. They are not advertising cookies. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights do not build a personal profile. The address book of shipping addresses is stored in this browser's local storage, which is not a cookie.
Retention
Voucher and wallet records are retained for as long as needed to honour balances and comply with financial regulations. You may request deletion of account data where no outstanding balance or legal obligation remains.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us at hello@easygiftvouchers.com to exercise these rights.
